As a beginner piano student, I got this one recommended by my teacher and purchased two of these, but only one through Amazon (the one listed on this page.) Most of the reviews here are spot on -- sound quality is excellent, the keys feel like they come from a real piano, and the weight is close to or pretty much the same as the grand piano I'm using to learn from. There's one catch though: there's a newer version of this piano, but it lacks a feature you may want (copy-pasted from another site):In 2022, Yamaha announced the P-125A; this is the EXACT same piano, only with one MAJOR difference; there is no built-in audio interface on the P-125A on the P-125A the USB to host port is MIDI only (so you cannot stream audio IN to the P-125A to listen to backing tracks, and you also cannot send audio OUT to easily record). You may notice that this page lists the P125, but if you're purchasing from a third-party shop, they may send you the P125A AND give you no warning or notice about it, so you may be overpaying for this one. Check with your shop beforehand to see if that's actually what you will get -- I speak from experience, as I got the P125A instead and went through Amazon customer service (and the shop) in an attempt to fix things; I got this delivered overseas and returning it is not an option, so I requested a refund of the price difference between the P125A and P125 (about $100 at the time of writing this.)

I really like the sound and feel of this keyboard. It's as good as, if not better, than my Yamaha digital piano (CLP-340) that cost over $2000 many years ago. In fact I'm going to sell the piano and just keep this.I do have one complaint and that is that it is thicker than the piano (5.25" vs. 4") so my knee hits the bottom of the keyboard when I have the height adjusted for proper arm placement. It forces me to sit back a little further. I'm sure I'll adjust over time but it was a bit annoying at first.I replaced my X stand with an On-Stage KS7350 stand which is rock solid.I also placed a Convenience Concepts Mission Console Table behind it to hold my lamp and stuff which fits nicely with the stand. And it's all portable.UPDATE 1/13/22I was practicing trills a month or so ago and began to notice that the keys were clicking, a plastic-on-plastic slapping noise. The sound is from the key and not in the piano as it clicks even when off. A little research shows that this is common on this keyboard. Some suggest playing with headphones which is an approach I adopted but is hardly a long-term solution. I've uploaded a video of the key noise.I plan on disassembling the keyboard to see if there is a simple fix.

Chegou antes do prazo.

I have a perfectly wonderful piano, but I like an electronic keyboard for supplemental practice with the Piano Marvel website. I purchased the recommended stand and upgraded foot pedals. I am so thrilled with my purchase.

Learning to play the piano has always been on my "bucket list" and I finally took the plunge since we only live once and I've been saving up for it. While it isn't a "piano" in the literal sense, the Yamaha P125 offers exactly what I need, especially being a novice: lots of digital features, great sound, nice key weight and outstanding quality at a reasonable price point. I also appreciate that it doesn't take up precious space. Opening up the box felt like Christmas and it was pristine--obvious that it was handled with care during shipment (thanks, UPS)!If you can swing it, I recommend also getting the optional Yamaha stand for it and pedals--I bought these separately so that all three items would arrive at the same time. Buying the package offered elsewhere was exactly the same price but the stand that comes with it is from a different supplier and would've taken longer to arrive. Having everything together made setting up a lot easier.

I wanted to purchase a weighted digital piano for when I want to practice at times when my acoustic piano would be too loud. I love how simple the buttons are as I was looking for a full weighted piano with simple features. This piano is great and there is little transition for when I practice on other acoustic pianos. Great with headphones if you want to play at night. Highly recommended digital piano. This will be fun to practice on for years!

I bought this for my daughter to learn piano. This model was highly recommend by her piano teacher; it is quite basic when compared to other brands/models but a perfect piano for any beginner. I really dont have much idea about the sound quality but her teacher said that the piano is perfect in all aspects and he recommends all his students to buy the very same piano model. I would recommend investing on a proper sturdy piano stand and bench. A dust cover also is recommended. The piano doesnt come with a stand or bench unless you order the bundle

Were in love! Bought it for my five year old whos been playing piano for 6 months and we had some random keyboard with only 61 keys. This is the piano he will play for the next 15-20 years as Ive heard from many people about the quality of Yamaha. It sounds amazing! We are ecstatic and have played many songs on it so far!Dont hesitate to buy for your children. Invest in them and show them your commitment to their education and hobbys.

I put off on buying a keyboard because I thought it couldn't replicate the feel and sound of a traditional piano, but I was definitely wrong. It feels and sounds amazing! The keys feel exactly the same, right down to the volume being affected by how hard you hit the keys. The keyboard is light enough to move around to wherever you need it, or can be stored out of sight.
